I love the convenience for working out at home. Expensive home exercise equipment is not necessary to get a good workout. My home exercise equipment includes…

- Stability Ball
- 5 pound dumbbells
- 8 pound dumbbells
- 15 pound dumbbells
The stability ball is great for many exercises including sit-ups, push-ups, and wall squats… you can really get creative with stability ball exercises. Even just sitting on the ball works your core muscles. Stability balls usually cost about 20 dollars.
My 5 pound weights come into use during exercise videos that use weights with tons of repetitions… such as Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. A set of 5 pound dumbbells usually cost about 10 to 25 dollars.
The 8 pound weights are used for the majority of my arm exercises… such as bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, and shoulder presses. A set of 8 pound dumbbells usually cost about 20 to 35 dollars.
The 15 pound weights are held while doing many of my leg exercises… such as squats and lunges. A set usually cost about 30 to 45 dollars.
Cory has some 25 and 45 pound weights that I do not use! Occasionally, I do use something from his “at-home” gym equipment…

The Perfect Push-up
I’m not going to lie… currently, I can only complete just a couple of these! They are pretty hard. I think Cory bought these for about 20 dollars.
I definitely take advantage of exercise shows that come on Fit TV or in the Freezone of On Demand. What is your favorite piece of “at-home” exercise equipment?

I do like my weights. I don’t really have any other equipment. Great point about the usefulness of a stability ball!
I like on cox on demand they have fit tv the show I work out with is Start Walking(45min: 3miles) it is free!!!
Gotta love FREE
